2nd Biomedical Informatics Symposium in Mozambique
The event in Maputo, Mozambique, August 20-22, 2012 was attended by over 60 participants from Mozambique, South Africa, Brazil, and the USA. More information here.
We convened global health informatics experts who are working in Southeast Africa to discuss computing for clinical and basic research, biorepositories and data management, as well as biomedical informatics education. Our colleagues from the Medical Education Partnership Initiative (MEPI) helped make this event a success.

1st Biomedical Informatics Symposium in Mozambique
The first symposium was held in October 2010 in Maputo.
